ToDay Mastitis Treatment for Lactating Cows Cephapirin Sodium 10ml
16322695

Product Description
An antibiotic mastitis treatment providing bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria in lactating dairy cows.
  • Each 10 mL disposable, ready-to-use syringe contains the active ingredient cephapirin sodium
  • Provides control against mastitis-causing pathogens – including penicillin-resistant Staph aureus and Strep agalactiae
  • Easy two-tube treatment given 12 hours apart
  • Opti-Sert® applicator tip aids in full or partial insertion

Two tubes of ToDAY® given according to the label will result in 60 fewer hours of milk withhold time as compared to using five tubes of SPECTRAMAST LC,  therefore reducing time cows spend in the hospital pen by more than 35 percent. Using ToDAY in combination with a culture-based protocol can save a 1,000-cow dairy over $30,000 annually.3

Dosage:
Infuse a 10 mL syringe (200 mg of cephapirin activity per syringe) once the quarter has been completely milked out. Repeat once only in 12 hours. For lactating cows only. Read and follow label directions.

Safety Information:
Milk that has been taken from animals during treatment and for 96 hours after the last treatment must not be used for food. Treated animals must not be slaughtered for food until 4 days after the last treatment. Administration of more than the prescribed dose may lead to residue of antibiotic in milk longer than 96 hours.

ToDAY should be administered with caution to subjects that have demonstrated some form of allergy, particularly to penicillin. Such reactions are rare; however, should they occur, consult your veterinarian.
